Revelstoke Mountain Resort Reports Gang Buster Season

Revelstoke Mountain Resort reports a gang-buster opening season with skier visits up 44% over projections and 20% above target for its Selkirk Tangiers Helicopter Skiing operation.

And, next year they plan to go the extra mile, extending the gondola 885 feet to the village site, making Revelstoke Mountain Resort the longest lift-serviced vertical descent in North America at 5,620 feet.

The new village will be completed with a full-service restaurant, retail and rental shops, lift ticket and skier facilities and additional parking for one thousand vehicles.

A new high-speed quad chairlift will open up an extra 900 acres of intermediate terrain as well as 300 additional acres of expert skiing.  Cat skiing terrain will increase to 2210 acres.

With loads of snow, this first season didn't end until April 27th.
