Q & A at District 83 Budget Meeting

At the question and answer period at the Board of Education School District 83, Linda Nicholson, president of the North Okanagan Shuswap Teachers Association thanked Enderby Trustee Chris Coers for her motion to send a letter to the Ministry of Education concerning lack of funding.

But Nicholson challenged Coers' statement about not being able to continue to make cuts because they do keep making cuts. She said although trustees try hard to keep cuts from the classroom - it isn't working and the impact is being felt.
