TILMA-Idzan

Salmon Arm Councilor Ivan Idzan said he has heard a lot of interest from local residents regarding the Trade and Investment Labour Mobility Agreement (TILMA) - which is a trade agreement between Alberta and BC.

Idzan mentioned during the correspondence portion of Council that there was a letter from the Union of BC Municipalities on the issue.

"However their letter to the City of Trail and thus all other municipalities was to inform us that those discussions are still ongoing and still in confidence with the Province hence they aren't able to reveal the specific status."

Idzan said he is sure UBCM is doing their best on behalf of all residents and municipalities.
