The price of oil and gasoline are down. After oil dropped almost $2.60 yesterday, it's down another 30 cents this morning to trade at $66.43 U-S a barrel. Gasoline prices are down four cents in some provinces. According to gasbuddy.com, Quebec and Ontario are paying between 91 cents and 1.02 per litre at the pump, Saskatchewan is at 1.04, Alberta is paying 95 cents per litre, and BC is the highest in the country with Vancouver between 1.08 to 1.13. Here in the Shuswap and Okanagan, Kelowna is at 1.07, Endery is between 1.04 & 1.06, Salmon Arm hasn't changed from 1.06 to 1.08, and Sicamous is highest in the area at 1.09. Liberal M-P Dan McTeague says speculators and oil companies finally realize the troubled economy has weakened the demand for gasoline. Sofie McGarry, Salmon Arm
