Five hundred workers at Lake City Casinos in Vernon, Kelowna, Penticton and Kamloops will vote on a tentative contract agreement the week of May 26th.

Theresa Marshall with the BCGEU says, the union bargaining committee is unanimously  recommending acceptance of the agreement.

"It features higher wages, some more flexibility in scheduling, paid training for the first time and  improved benefits."

Marshall says, the issue of gratuities, which was a major factor in workers turning down a previous agreement wasn't discussed this time, as the employer didn't bring it to the table.
