Saxophonist Dave Hubbard began his career at 13, when he first started playing with the Baltimore Municipal Band in his home state of Maryland. After that point, he has had a long and fruitful career that has included working with Ray Charles, Patti LaBelle, and Joe Chambers. He has performed on countless recordings, and has arranged and composed many songs for other artists including George Benson and Les McCann. He joined Joan Cartwright's Jazz Hotline in the late '90s and continues to play with them into the 2000s. ~ Bradley Torreano, All Music Guide
