Little Miss Carriage, a brief five-song EP, hearkens more than usual for The Didjits back to '70s rock & roll; it's almost as if the original punk rockers had embraced heavy metal rather than distancing themselves from it. Then again, maybe it's just the cover of Ronnie Montrose's "Rock The Nation." Though the music on this outing holds its own against anything The Didjits have done to date, Rick Sims' voice is a bit more screechy than usual (this album's one drawback). A cartoonish, rock & roll nightmare vision of fast cars, endless hunger for dope, and sudden death, Little Miss Carriage is good, unstable punk mayhem. Read More
