The Best Of Me acts as a kind of companion piece to So Far So Good, collecting Bryan Adams' biggest hits from the '90s, some new tracks, and some of his classic singles. Along with staples such as "Summer of '69" and "Run to You," the compilation spans power ballads like "(Everything I Do) I Do It for You," "Have You Ever Really Loved a WomanNULL," and "Let's Make a Night to Remember," as well as more upbeat tracks like "The Only Thing That Looks Good on Me Is You" and "Can't Stop This Thing We Started." Unlike So Far So Good, however, The Best Of Me doesn't quite balance Adams the balladeer and Adams the rocker; too much of The Best Of Me focuses on less than stellar duets and the sappiest side of his work.
