The Can't Always Be Loved EP features a radio edit of the sweetly thrashy title track and adds the full, 17 minutes-plus version of "Wish I Had a Wishing Ring," both from His Name Is Alive's sixth album, Fort Lake. Oliver's and Pippen's vocals shine on each of these tracks, while Defever shows off his chops on "Wishing Ring."
