When is your coffee break?
A team of university experts have come up
with a formula that looks like Einstein was at work
M = 0.5 x F + (0.5 x E + 0.3 x P + 0.15 x C + 0.05 x T.
It proves that 11 o'clock really is the best time for a coffee break.
But the research also shows that a tasty Dark Roast is not the only requirement - lights, music, aroma and good company need to be added to the mix.
I told this to the boss..
He said 11 works - I'll deduct this from your lunch.
For the rest,... he served up some coffee, hit me with fabreeze, and turned up the radio...

The Salmon Arm Askew's Pee Wee Silverchips
had a very successful 2010 hockey season
winning both the league banner and the playoff
banner all in one year.
The team, undefeated in the playoffs, went into the final game Monday night
at the Sunwave Center and carried through with a win over the Vernon Interior Savings Phantoms.
Congratulations go to players Daniel Astma, Evan Chorlton, Tristan
Curdyk, Lewis Golding, Zack Langty, Donte Nowel, Eddie O'Dell, Dillan

Avatar in the Hurt Locker!
The Hurt Locker won big at the
82nd Annual Academy Awards in Hollywood,
scoring Oscars in the night's most prestigious categories
including best director and best picture.
The Iraq War drama beat out the event's other leading nominated film,
Avatar, scored three nominations, including visual effects.
As film critic Roger Ebert tweated so perfectly...
"Shortest Oscar story in history: ( ! > $ )"
I guess I'll have to finally watch the Hurt Locker to see what all the acclaim is about...
Spring Cleaning!
With Mother Nature bringing us warm a weekend
It's time to get outdoors.
This Saturday on the morning show
I have some general tips on cleaning the house.
Things to think about inside ...
- change the furnace filter
- check the carbon mono and fire alarms
- clean the hood fan above the stove
Outside things to look for...
- check the dryer vent and clean it out
- check the roof and all the downspouts to make sure water is clear to get away from the house
- clean up the flower beds of all the old leaves
